There was some light rain but it was supposed to clear and it did. Nonetheless, as I drove to the walk, I was trying to think of things I could do in the area when no one showed up for the walk. After the first two people appeared, I went inside to check on parking and met the wife of the cemetery superintendent who invited us to visit the garden at their beautiful home on the grounds.
Then more people began to appear. What a bonanza!! We ended up with 23 people. It was great!!
We walked in two separate groups and, when some of us stopped to check out the garden, the first group walked on. The garden was lovely and, of course, I took a lot of pictures. When we met at the end of the walk, the other group decided to go back and visit the garden.
Six of us lunched at Table Talk and, after they'd done the additional walk, another six [maybe more] also ate at Table Talk. The food was decent but the service was absolutely terrible.

We pondered the meaning of all the names on this person's stone. |

We approached the garden. There's a freight train on the other side of the river. |

I loved the pansies coming up in the stone walkway. |

Looking back at the garden. |

Some of the stones have beautiful artwork. |

And some have elaborate statuary |
