The day started out a bit chilly and overcast but it was pleasant weather for walking. There were nine of us. We walked along the lake shore and most followed a loop trail back. Four then continued walking along the shore toward the boat house while five of us rested and chatted.
This was the last walk for CJ and David and we wished them a sad farewell and a happy new life in Florida.
Seven of us had breakfast at the Iron Cafe in Montgomery. This is a
very small place but we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sun and plantings. We all agreed that our meals were excellent and very reasonable. We'll need to find some more area walks so we can dine there again.
