7/9/16 DOVER STONE CHURCH

I'd wanted to do this walk for a long time but was concerned about the distance to travel.  The day was predicted to be humid with storms but 12 of us took a chance and the place didn't disappoint.
Several of us had sung the praises of McKinney & Doyle in Pawling, one of our favorite places to eat.  Seven of us went.  We were surprised at the menu changes and higher prices [we hadn't eaten there for quite some time].  When the food came, however, the portions were generous and everyone said their food was delicious.  Phew!

there were a lot of rocks on the trail

there were many waterfalls along the brook

the interior; supposedly there's a waterfall in there but we couldn't see it and the rocks were tricky to walk on

There are 3 additional trails.  Our group divided-some to cars, some to lower loop, some to upper

I traveled the lower easier loop
