April 14: Beacon Riverside & Dennings Point

Eleven of us met at the Beacon train station parking lot.  We welcomed a new member, Lori.  It was a bit confusing with the catching up on travels and the events of the past month; but we finally got started walking along the riverside and then around Dennings Point.  It was a beautiful, warm and sunny spring day with flowers and trees beginning to bloom; and good to get back to walking.  After the walk seven of us enjoyed brunch at the Yankee Clipper.

Walks on March 17 and March 24

While Fran and I were in South Africa, Eileen kept track of the walks.

March 17:  Vassar College - Twelve people enjoyed a nice walk.  They turned left at the gate instead of right and went half way around the lake.  Then they took the boardwalk path past the music hall up to the church.

March 24:  Walkway Over the Hudson - Fifteen people enjoyed the walk over the Hudson River
